    I am an absolute amateur when it comes to running, but the staff in this shop didn’t ever make me feel as if I couldn’t do it. I called ahead to request parking information and whether or not an appointment was required, and Simon was absolutely lovely. He provided great information on where to park, and immediately assessed my gait when I arrived, providing his expert analysis as hoped. Giving me a myriad of trainers to try on, he allowed me to test them both up and down the shop, and on the treadmill. I wasn’t even self conscious about running in the window! I felt completely at ease and like my concerns were listened to. I was also offered a bra fitting by the lovely female staff member (whose name I can’t recall, I apologise) so that I could get myself a properly fitting running bra. I’ve not had chance to try either of them yet, however, they made me feel like everything was possible! I can’t wait to give them a spin.

    Probably the best customer service I can remember..I was served by Leanne who after analysing my running gait spent lots of time bring boxes of trainers for me to try. Was given lots of advice and I did not feel rushed or pressure to buy. I found trainers I was happy with and was able to run on the treadmill to test them. Very pleased and looking forward to my next run.

    So nice to find a shop that helps runners find the right shoes for their gait. Many shops don't have this facility which won't give the runner their best performance. Having slightly flat feet I need the support and I need an expert who knows which shoe will be best. I was served by a real professional and friendly assistant Simon. I will send another review regarding the shoes I bought at a later date once I've given them a good run in. I recommend this place for any budding runners of all ages. Thank you for your help.

    Decided to invest in a good pair of running shoes to try and keep myself comfortable and pain free whilst trying to go running more frequently. Gait analysis showed that I needed shoes with additional support. Simon was very professional and patient whilst I tried on the 4 pairs he identified as suitable for me. Decided on a pair of Brooks Gylcerin 20, which after trying properly at the gym feel amazing. Annoyed with myself that I hadnt gotten proper running shoes before. Definately worth buying local and having the expertise of the shop staff to make the correct choice.
