Let me try on a number of shoes in different sizes and brands to make sure I got the shoes that were most comfortable for me.     Currently in training for the London Marathon. Needed a new pair of technical shoes especially for this occasion. Something for a hard surface, customized, that would give me the right amortization. I was served by Marc ( Marc with a "c", he will get the joke, haha). Turns out he got into the London Marathon, too. The connection was there straight away, and he immediately knew what I needed, without me even saying anything. This is going to be my 6th marathon, and I would like to think that I am quite experienced, fully aware what I am looking for. To make sure I was getting the right thing, we did a gait analysis (treadmill test). I liked that he kept asking me questions in order to find out more about my running habits and limitations, so that he could come up with the best solution for me. And he did. And at the best price possible, although I did not ask for it. I tested the shoes the other day and they are out of this world. Marc, thanks for everything and well - break a leg in October!
