I can't believe that institution like this exists in 2022 in London. How is this even possible? They don't care at all, stuck in bureaucracy and nobody care as long as transfer the issue to someone else. I had conversations through emails with 6 different people and no one was able to answer a simple question like "can I prolong my study or can I put it on hold". Half of the calls with reception or helpline ended with them hanging up on me after all the time I wait. It's appalling.

In 2020 the University of Cumbria made a heavily pregnant employee redundant even though her team also knew her mother was terminally ill. During this ordeal the employee gave birth prematurely which was incredibly traumatic. This employee has taken the University of Cumbria to court with the support of Pregnant Then Screwed and won her case. An Employment Tribunal Found that The University discriminated against its pregnant employee. So don’t be fooled by any equalities greenwashing on the website. Be warned, this is a bigoted, woman-hating institution… a court has said so.
