Promised the earth, but failed to deliver. After signing up, they closed my account. Yes at the time we weren't moving alot of currency, but explained this at the time and that the business is going. Actually moved over $125k in the last couple of months with Transferwise, so more fool Universal Partners FX for being inpatient. High destination charges also.

I needed to transfer funds, due to the purchase of an overseas property, and spoke to my existing bank. They were helpful but the cost in doing so via them was astronomical. The exchange rate they offered me was insulting and, as this was a significant amount, I shopped around. I spoke to Oliver, at Universal Partners FX, who immediately sounded professional and knew what he was doing. He was also confident he could save me a great deal of money. Oliver made everything sound so easy that it almost seemed too good to be true. I researched UPFX a little further and was confident this was the company to use. I simply opened and account with them in no time, booked a very appealing exchange rate and transferred the funds accordingly. This was sent to the recipient the same day and received by them the following day, exactly as I was promised. I was kept up to speed the whole time and could not believe how simplistic the entire process was. I would not hesitate in using Oliver again and recommending him to anyone needing foreign currency.
