After wanting to visit this restaurant for a really long time, I was really disappointed. Without exaggeration, about half the menu was immediately unavailable. We had the tofish, which was really good and the pork belly which was nice, but the sweet chilli calamari rings arrived without sweet chilli (we were told it was finished) and were kinda chewy. The loaded fries which should have been "smothered" in three different sauces were severely lacking in sauce and the cheese was only slightly melted to a weird jelly texture. When I said this, our server was a bit defensive even though they had asked me what I thought of the food. We didn't find the drinks to be as good as they sounded on the menu either. We struggled to taste any elderflower in the sea shanty and piers Morgan's tears sounds hilarious and looks fancy when it arrives, but doesn't taste like much. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but this was a really disappointing dining experience.

The best food we had in London, so good in fact we came back for dinner with friends that same day. The tofish was amazing, somehow they've managed to achieve the same consistency and flavour as regular fried fish, my friend really enjoyed her VFC burger, and I loved my lobster mac and cheese. The lemonades were also delicious. At night we had more tofish and some vegan calamari, unbelievably good! The staff was also very nice and friendly, even when we became those annoying customers that come in one hour before closing. Cannot recommend enough!!

Been to NoCatch which is the sister fish n chips in Brighton, it was amazing, finally trying out Unity Diner. Overall the food was really good, let down by the service and atmosphere. Starter: Calamari - this was super delicious, chewy just like the normal thing. Love the touch of chill to them. Smoked salmon - it was ok, but wouldn't order again, good for nostalgia reasons, but that's it. Mains: Lobster Mac n cheese - I took a bite and was bitterly disappointed, it was so bland. But then realised there is a sauce, I think it's meant for this dish, it was never explained nor in the menu, unsure! But much better with the sauce, better but would try a different dish next time. In fact, with the sauce it was a huge portion! Sirloin steak - good but not cheap! Worth a try. It's on the salty side and the texture is more like pulled pork, guess it's how they 3D print it. Good regardless but probably not an exact mimicry of sirloin. Service: Server sat us down, told us the menu is via the QR code, and told us to grab him when we're ready. Took a bit of effort to grab his attention, but fine otherwise. However, 1 table was treated so poorly that they left, I saw the whole thing, completely understand why they left. Another also looked concerned as they waited to flag down the waiter. Atmosphere: Loud music despite being only 7pm on a Wednesday. Good if you enjoy more of a club like atmosphere. So loud my ears actually started hurting 10mins in... Too bad, so I probably won't be back unless there's outside seating. Suggestions: - seeing as the menu is via QR code anyway, just have your customers order online, without having to flag down a waiter. The serving side was completely fine, just some inefficiencies and frustrations with ordering. - if this is primarily a restaurant, please tune down the music, we had to shout across the table to talk. If it's meant more like a bar, then as you were.... Vegetarian options: Fully vegan restaurant!

All food items on main menu are vegan (not really sure what isn't vegan but I think it's safe to assume EVERYTHING IS VEGAN) Had to sit outside in the cold wind because everything inside was reserved til very late--make sure to make a reservation. Redefine meat is awesome (I'm not vegan). Less of a steak, more like a corned beef. Be warned the waitress says it takes 30-45min to cook. Tofish and chips are also great too. Tastes very fishy like real fish and chips Vegetarian options: Vegan
