Nice carpet, fitted nicely. Just unhappy that after specifically asking about paying the fitter by card in store, and having it confirmed that they could take card payments, the fitter then expected cash on completion. Celia in the store then said I was "mistaken" (lying) despite having specifically asked her with my wife next to me. I've used United Carpets and Beds Stechford on 3 occasions previously, and will be taking my business elsewhere next time. Incredibly disappointed. Also concerned that if fitters are being paid cash, there may be something suspicious afoot? Make up your own mind.

We went to United Carpets today, to purchase carpet and cushion floor for 4 rooms in my Mom's new flat. Several people had recommended them for both price and service, and I must say they lived up to their reputation. Celia, the lovely lady who served us, was extremely knowledgeable and came up with numerous ideas and suggestions. She knew we were on a tight budget and made recommendations accordingly, she never once tried to push us to go more expensive. I can't wait to see how it looks when fitted, and I hope the fitters live up to expectations. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great folks, gave the quote with very good communication from Naim, I visited the store, the elderly couple Celia and a gentleman were very nice and patiently answered to all my questions, choices for the carpets are really nice. Price was reasonable. The carpet layed within 3 to 4 days of the order and the finishing is good too. I will certainly recommend this United Carpet Store.
