they took my rent before my student loan arrived, even though I told them about the situation beforehand. when I took it up with them they basically told me to screw myself even though I can't even do food shopping.

A family member was dropped off at the premises. Nothing special in terms of the rooms as the price for the rooms do not reflect the standard of the room. It is evident that students are taken advantage of though.

Been living here for nearly 2 months and have basically had nothing but issues. Moved in and my room was obviously not cleaned. Tape on the walls, dirty floor, nail polish stains on the door and lightswitch, gross sticky stuff under the desk (have no idea what it was). Missing my toilet roll holder and the extraction fan didnt work. My flatmate said that he had walked into one of the other rooms in my flat and there was rubbish all over the floor and the room was filthy. Luckily he requested for cleaners to come and they did. After about 2 weeks of living there reception was shut for the week due to understaffing (not by fault of the actual reception staff who are really helpful and friendly). Packages of mine went missing and had to jump through hoops to get them even though it wasnt an issue that started with me. During this week the clothes washing facilities were closed for maintenance and were closed for about a week (considering they have their own maintenance teams this shouldve been done a lot quicker). But since then and even before some of the washing machines still dont work so there was basically no point in getting maintenance. Realised after about a month that i was getting black mould becasue the extraction fan in my bathroom didnt work. Main a request for maintenance and still havent had anything done (this was almsot a month ago that I made the request) Made a complaint to the unite students customer service about all the issues id been having and never had any reply (again was over a month ago that I emailed) Living under a bridge would be less hassle and cheaper so id recommend that more tbh.

Rooms are okay but a bit small for what you pay. But the worst part is the reception. They are always unhelpful and rude, that is when they actually bother to open. The official opening times are completely irrelevant because they open/close randomly whenever they feel like it. Basically impossible to get your mail/parcels.

Absolutely terrible conditions, looks nothing like the pictures on the website. Staff are rude and are only interested in your money not the well-being of yourself or child, for example I have epilepsy and my parents couldn’t get in contact with me so they thought the worst and asked people at reception to go check I was ok, they said they would but didn’t actually show up to my room until over a week later!
