For the nearly 40 weeks ive lived here, there has been unending construction. From 8 or 9, every single working day, non-stop. I am a particularly patient person and even for me it has gotten to a point where it feels torturous. I haven't slept past 9 since I got here and it's really starting to affect me. Some days its quite literally outside my window and when it starts suddenly it wakes me up with a start. If it were somewhat quieter or less consistent I feel as if I wouldn't be this affected, but it is incredibly loud and it simply does not stop. Not only does it disrupt sleep, but it makes it impossible to live here. As uni students, the majority of the residents here need an environment to study, relax, and sleep in, and this place does not foster that. There is no clear finishing date and it never seems like any progress is being made. I'm so tired both physically and mentally, I just want to sleep. I'm only writing this right now at 10:16 because I woke up at 9 from it and it hasn't stop since then; I've lost all hope of going back to sleep. There was no mention of any construction when I was in the process of registering here and that feels incredibly unfair as I would have never lived here had I known, and it just feels like I've wasted nearly £14,000 that I won't receive compensation for. I understand that it would not be profitable to warn about construction to prospective residents but it's honestly just deceptive, so hopefully this serves as a good enough warning to ward people off. Do not live here until this construction is finished. You will regret it.

Horrendous Check-in experience. They bait you into booking this place but a a lot of things seem not to be working. For instance, there is an on-going construction work which makes a tremendous amount of noise during the day but they told you that it was going to finish when you move in. Also, one of the selling points of this place is it's Air conditioning/ heating system which, of course, does not work. The staff doesn't seem to be that keen on fixing things even learning the issues some time ago.They said they will fix it. Of course, it was never fixed. I also saw some previous comments that the issue has persisted since last academic year, I guess it is one of their strategy to save cost. The mattress iss terrible and you will probably need a mattress topper since you can literally feel the spring of the mattress. Not to mention the on-going construction work and good luck to study at home during weekdays. The management team claimed that it would get better but it never did. It will last till 2023-24. The team will emphasise that you can go to the study room to study. Seriously, they ask you to go somewhere to study though you paid for your room. What interesting logic. Imagine the same thing happening to you. The furnitures shown on their website are completely different from what you can find in the actual room. My neighbours experienced horrendus leakage at different locations in their room but it will take a good couple of days for them to acknowledge the issue. Parcels also gone missing but the staff are not keen on looking them up for you. Please bear in mind that you are paying a premium price for this place. Also, good luck in contacting the building team/ unite students. The hotline usually has a long queue and they never reply to your email if it is related to complaints. My recommendation is better find another student accomation as it is not worth the price. We should never reward dishonest businesses in this world. Update: They left a generic reply without even reading the comment. It is obvious that I contacted them numerous time but the problems were never fixed. Probably due to cost saving of the business. If you contact the hotline or send them an email like how they reply here, they will refer you back to the office management team which is incompetent. There are a lot of other places in London which are cheaper and better than here. As a tenant point of view, please stay away from this place.

This is one of the worst student accommodations in London. I found out the kitchen sink was clogged and overflowed when I checked in. Also, there was no hot water and the shower area didn’t have water supply at all. It took about a week more to have it fixed, but the problem is still lingering such as broken refrigerator, constant faulty fire alarm at midnight which is frightening. Moreover, the ongoing construction work produces tremendous amount of noise from Monday to Friday which really affects students studies. Wrote an email to complain about the problems, and they promise to give me a solution within 14 days but now it's been ***5 months!! No reply is given which is ridiculous. I have never seen a company with such bad management!! update: super super noisy every day, insane.
