You’re paying £245 a week for a nice looking room, decent reception and thats about it. On the surface the accommodation looks good until you realise that its just a fancy paint job. Rooms are serviced by showers that are either boiling or too cold, outdated kitchen hobs that realistically have only two heat settings: one burns your food the other serves as a nice warming pad. Overpriced laundry (5.50 for a wash and dry) and dryers that keep your clothes damp. You’ll frequently spend upwards of several minutes queuing for lifts designed by someone who shouldn’t have graduated high school. Workmanship is poor, rooms have walls that are hollow and paper thin allowing you to hear everything that goes on in the flat. You can tell that saving money was a major consideration in how the building was designed. Your kitchen is self maintained. Jesus man even wolfson house has cleaners that clean your kitchen weekly. The location, although with good transport links, is in Stratford. If you do the bare minimum in researching the area you’ll probably know to avoid it. I can’t recommend living here in good conscience. As a King’s student you’re better off spending your money on accommodations like SSA, GDS or wolfson, all of which are aware of their shortcomings and charge you accordingly.

The rooms were smaller than they could be. Irrespective of the cost, the university students need a minimum decent space in their room. It's not a bunker after all. Other facilities seems decent.
