I am a voluntary director at Keephatch House, 35 apartments, in Wokingham. There are 2 lifts in this building. Unique lifts were introduced to us several years ago by John Mortimer Ltd., part of the Encore Property Estates Management group. The service that has been provided by the Unique engineers is constantly at the highest level and with the support of the internal team, managers and Directors we all achieve great results in maintaining our lifts at Keephatch House. A recent prime example of the usual friendly, professional work carried out here at Keephatch by Unique ensured that both myself and JM were kept informed of a maintenance issue which required additional parts to be ordered following a regular service call. The engineer and his assistant finished very late that Friday afternoon but had time to brief myself on the situation before leaving for home on a two hour journey. Not too many contractors have my mobile number but I trust the Unique guys and in this instance the Unique engineer messaged me at 8.37pm on that Friday evening in his own time to update me that he had contacted his manager to advise which parts were required and to let me know "Unique were on the case" We truly appreciate this level of communication and dedication that this and previous Unique engineers and the Unique team have provided at KH. I’m the director of a RTM company with four lifts in East London. Unique took over our maintenance contract from Otis in 2016. They had competitive pricing and were keen to win the business. The first year was great. They helped resolve a few issues. Subsequent years were less impressive, their quotes were not competitive and by 2019 I cancelled our contract. From Jan 18 to Aug 19 we had 50 engineer call outs (costing £7.8k). Since moving in Jan 2020 we have had one engineer repair visit in five months. The new maintainer resolved our long term issues. Our lifts now run much smoother. I’m looking forward to lowering my lift budget next year.I will not use Unique again.

Unique Lifts have always provided us with great service. As property managers it is very important we have reliable contractors and Unique go above and beyond this. They are very easy to get hold of and attend for repairs and inspections extremely quickly. Lift maintenance can be very stressful due to the importance of the health and safety aspect but Unique take the pressure off tenfold with their expert knowledge and abilities, help and excellent service.
