I got work through Uniform education, it was the worst experience. Promised so much a day but they don't tell you all the fees and charges till after your first pay so minus 100 pounds a week. I paid for a DBS through them but was never given it and it wasn't updated to the system so other organisations could see it. Then when questioned they just decided to be adults and ignore all emails and questions.

Terrible experience working with Uniform Education. Had my first contract ended abrutly after my second week as they said the school couldnt afford to pay me what they had contractually agreed to pay me weeks prior. When i spoke to the school they said this was not the case. Later down the line during my second contract ive been suffering from severe ill health and fast tracked for testing for a serious health condition which they were aware of. Due to my symptoms i was late, and was met by my agent, Dan (who is also one of the companys directors) shouting, swearing and throwing insults at me over the phone. Never have I experienced something so horrific in a professional circumstance.

I have worked through 4 teaching agencies and "uniform education" are by far the worst.Unless you opt to work for a very low daily rate , they will never call you .It takes them days to reply to messages and unless they can rinse you for as much money as they can, they aren't interested .No agency is good to work for because they are all little middle men , exploiting the schools and teaching staff to maximum personal financial benefit .Its just some agencies do it with more proffessionalism and style. This agency had neither .Avoid !
