Went to the tribute weekend and what a bash they put on with boy George, Marvin gaye and Madonna. It was a great weekend up until a storm come and some off the other acts had to cancel but dave and his team rallied round and somehow set up a stage at short notice. How they got this done and organised so quick I'll never know. And it was all with it for the epic performance from the actual Dr and the medics. He covered so many songs from the 80s and got the whole pub singing. What an amazing way to finish the weekend. Oh yeah the food is also fantastic especially the breakfast. And even though the pub is nicely in the kiddie of nowhere, they price of the drink area really good. You really have to come here for a few days to fully appreciate the setting of the grounds

Ok for a quick riverside pub stop. Strong smell off sewage about from the water recycling plant on site. Benches outside were rotten and broken. Probably won't visit again.

What a lovely camp site this is 👌 Had my first camping experience here recently and will definitely be returning. The camp site was clean, had a lovely park for the children to play on, toilets/showers were cleaned regular and always had toilet roll available. The staff were friendly and the bar area even had entertainment on the weekend. We had food on our last day, portions was great and food amazing! There was some noise/music from older groups without children but nothing we didn't expect and was always turned off or down come bed time so kids slept great 🙌 Definitely recommend. Thank you 😊

The toilets were the worst I have ever seen on any campsite, they were filthy, very smelly which you could smell before entering, empty toilet rolls everywhere but no toilet paper to use, I didn't even attempt looking at the shower section after what I had already seen. Outside on the carpark was broken glass everywhere so had to pick my dog up so as not to cut its paws. When I say broken glass I mean broke glass, there were lots and this is near the children's play park. Now for the camping area, if you like lots of very loud, shouting, swearing adults that play extremely loud music from the time they get up till I'm guessing till they go to bed then you will like it but for me that was the last straw after 8 hrs of it I packed up and left and I don't think I would ever consider going back or recommending it to anyone. This experience completely spoiled my weekend away. Noteworthy details: Don't go to this site
