    I first got in touch with Uncommon Projects well over a year ago because I liked the style of their kitchens. Unwisely, I subsequently decided to work with another company who massively let us down and never delivered the kitchen we wanted. We went back to UP in January this year and the difference in their approach versus our previous company was incredible. Alan and his team are so professional, they take you by the hand, work with you every step of the way to design your dream kitchen. The installation was nearly flawless and snagging was dealt with swiftly and professionally. From ordering our kitchen in January, we had an installed kitchen early April. Given the delay suffered by our previous company these timelines were simply astonishing. The quality of the finished product is amazing. I had quite a few friends and family visiting and everyone has commented on the quality of the finishes. The interior finishes are a cut above any other kitchen I have seen. I cannot recommend enough!!

    We were put in touch with Uncommon Projects through a personal contact. We then found out that we were neighbours with Alan. How fortuitous! Our kitchen project brief was very specific as we live in a Grade II listed building and there are many regulations to overcome, and that was one of the reasons we had not changed our kitchen for over 20 years! Alan came up with a brilliant design to re-configure our galley space, with a footprint to the original kitchen which was important to us. The new lighting adds an atmospheric softness that was previously missing and we love it. We were bowled over by the craftsmanship and respect for the materials. Liz was phenomenal in her attention to detail and very patient with our many questions. We so enjoyed working with them both and their brilliant team and we couldn't be happier with our new beautiful kitchen. The project was finished as per our timeline and on budget. We are the envy our neighbours... can't recommend UP highly enough.

Their kitchen is beautiful both in terms of its design and its functionality. We are 100% happy with everything. The whole process was easy and efficient and the firm's communications has been brilliant. Alan, Liz, Tom and the team really care about the design aesthetic, quality and functionality of the kitchen. They went above and beyond the call of duty and replaced some of the kitchen panels (free of charge) after the electrician managed to drill quite a few holes to the side of the cabinets. Brilliant kitchen and brilliant team! We can't recommend Uncommon Projects highly enough.

    We originally came across Uncommon Projects on Houzz and immediately loved the look and style of their kitchens, but it was only once we'd seen them at their workshop did we appreciate the quality as well. We were really impressed with every stage of the process, from Alan's creative design ideas (managing to design out any awkward corner cupboards) to Liz's attention to detail and regular correspondence throughout the planning stages. The quality of the joinery is incredibly high and the ideas they came up with have really maximized the space we had, and would not have been possible with standard unit sizes. The details like running the kitchen worktop around the window sill seem small but make a huge difference. The finished kitchen looks and feels like a premium bespoke piece of furniture (the photos don't do it justice). We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
