Lovely place to visit 300 acres Lake which you cross by a chained ferry to the walled gardens. There is so much to do it's impossible to do it in a day. Massive house over 100 rooms absolutely beautiful rooms. But all build through the slave trade. But we can't change our history.

Cornfields Dancing
Harewood House is an amazing stately home designed by architects John Carr and Robert Adam. It was built, between 1759 and 1771, for Edwin Lascelles, 1st Baron Harewood. Admission is quite expensive but there is plenty to see and do. The Courtyard Cafe is very good and serves a range of meals, cakes and beverages. Well worth a visit.

Amazing place. Beautiful building & grounds. The staff are very helpful (we had a disabled gentleman with us), helping us into the house via a wheelchair lift & providing a wheelchair to look around the ground floor of the house. A bus service is used for disabled people to take them around parts of the grounds. A full day there will not get you around the estate completely if you explore properly. The food is a little over priced, but it is for the upkeep of the house. I'd love to return and have a really good look around.
