We use a variety of boats for instruction, including dinghies, keelboats, and yachts. Our fleet includes boats of different sizes and types to accommodate students of all levels and preferences. What safety protocols do you have in place?
Safety is our top priority, and we have strict safety protocols in place. All students are required to wear appropriate safety gear, such as lifejackets, and our instructors are trained in first aid and rescue procedures. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we have a flexible cancellation policy. If a student needs to cancel a class, we offer a full refund or the option to reschedule. Am here on a camping/sailing/paddling short break with members from Scaling Dam Sailing & Watetsports Club. The weather was glorious upon arrival, and then typical Lakes weather which is taking the edge off... that said, the clubhouse is open for us to keep warmer and dryer of an evening; launch facilities are good, shower & toilet facilities are decent. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The location, of course, is superb.

Superb site on the lake, good facilities apart from the showers and changing rooms can be quite filthy af times. Good place for dinghy racers, but beware if you have a yacht on one of their moorings. They squeeze boats in too close together, and the small print says they take no responsibility for any damage and there often is.
