I recently was fortunate enough to train under the direction of Master Sinclair. He is very welcoming, humble, patient and approachable. He is happy to answer your questions and assist learning. If you want to learn the art then I would highly recommend you attend his classes. It is evident that he is extremely knowledgeable in his field and has a unique ability to simplify his teachings so that you can understand and pick them up as well as ensuring that they are practical. His passion for his work reflects through his classes and he is a true master of the art. My experience is that all are welcome irrespective of ability or background and one doesn’t feel judged. Definitely worth a visit and his teaching is second to none.

The national HQ of the UKWCKFA offers wing chun classes to all levels and has an open and progressive approach to teaching wing chun, initially focused on self defense. This approach has been pioneered by Sifu James Sinclair who creates a positive and supportive environment to train in and has a wealth of experience and knowledge. I have found Sifus' teaching to be a constant source of inspiration in my 10 years of training.

I have trained at the UK Wing Chun Kung Fu Association for over ten years now under the tutelage of Master James Sinclair. The UKWCKFA offers a great range of classes for all experience levels, a postive and progressive atmosphere to train and learn in and instructors that are passionate and truly care about the art they're teaching. What really sets the UKWCKFA apart for me is the level of coaching offered by the Sifus who have many decades of experience amongst them. You're not just taught "by the numbers" but rather coached and helped to develop your skills accordingly. I continue to learn something every time I train and look forward to continuing to do so hopefully for many years to come!

I have been training with the UKWCKFA since 1990 under Master James Sinclair. His knowledge and skill are second to none and this is the reason so many students study Wing Chun Kung Fu, not only with Master Sinclair, but with other excellent SiFu's. As I have been training for a considerable time, as have many others, it is a testomount to this great Wing Chun school and I can't recommend it enough for anyone thinking about starting martial arts training.

This branch is the HQ for the UKWCKFA which is operated by Master sifu James sinclair. An amazing school, many levels of classes which are all taught by many great sifu. Lucky to have found it so many years ago.
