    Excellent experience and would highly recommend them. Fast diagnosis, very clear understanding of the options and very collaborative to work with other medical practitioners in developing care plan. In our case a bracing solution was a very effective solution in reducing quite large curves (42/49) at quite a late stage (risser 3/4) to underneath surgical limits and look to be sustained. Highly recommend checking a growing teen as early as possible if scoliosis suspected, especially if any family history and this team (supported by the outstanding Australian -world renowned bracing experts) are the people to help in that.

    Dr Paul Irvine is a complete legend in our household. He worked with my son Freddie who at 16 developed a 69% scoliosis curve. A terrifying reality at the start of lockdown. Paul and his team were outstanding at responding to Freddie's needs in extraordinary circumstances where all travel was banned and businesses ordered shut. Freddie got measured and fitted for a brace by Paul and his continuous support and guidance resulted in a 30% reduction in Fred's curve meaning ultimate surgery was vastly reduced from the original prognosis. Fred's surgeon was incredibly sceptical at the merirs of bracing, as sadly are too many of the surgery profession. however when we presented ourselves back at his office 12 months later following Paul's treatment he confessed he had been mistaken and was highly complimentary to Paul and his teams work resulting in Fred only needing thoracic spine surgery not lumber. I can't thank or praise UK Scoliosis highly enough. thank you Paul and team for your ongoing care, compassion to Fred's case - you've made a huge difference to his life. ❤️🙌

    Paul's a good guy, professional and focused on the well being of his patients. I went to see Paul to find out whether my back issues were the result of scoliosis. Apart from his thorough physical assessment, he used digital X-ray technology to help assess the condition of my spine. He concluded I did not have scoliosis and decided not to move ahead with chiropractic adjustments because he said they would not help me. I would recommend Paul to anyone who thinks they may have scoliosis. He has both the skills and experience with which to assess both children and adults for scoliosis.

    It is early days, but so far, my brace has been great. Diagnosed with De Novo Scoliosis at 70, surgery was not advisable, so after some research and much deliberation, I decided to go for a Scoliobrace. This has enabled me to enjoy walking my dog again, and go for much longer walks with friends, without the pain which had been getting increasingly debilitating over about the past 10 years. The effect is really liberating. It takes a bit of getting used to wearing a rigid brace e.g. it is hard to pick things up from the floor and the "tongues" stick up when I'm sitting. However, the inconveniences and slight discomfort is definitely outweighed by the benefits. Paul has been very thorough and helpful, so I have felt supported by him all along (too!)

I have from scoliosis for about 20 years now, did a lot of physio and used a brace when I was a teenager but after 18 years old, my doctor discharged me and I did not see any other professional. My scoliosis was getting worse, I was getting some aches and pains, but everything changed when I started my treatment with Paul. He was very professional and now I know how to manage my scoliosis and better than that, I feel much better! It was a life changing!
