I've spent ages on their site, researching the correct products for my needs and adding nearly £100 worth of goods to my cart.... Only when you go to check out you MUST sign up and create an account, Why? I have no desire to be constantly marketed to and offered additional products or services that I may not need, nor do I have any reassurance about how well they'll store and manage my personal information. So despite the fact that both their range and prices seem fair enough, I've just wasted an hour of my time as I don't wish to have to create an account for a one off purchase. Creating an account should be an OPT IN ONLY function and not a one sided requirement of doing business.

I've used them for years. Never had a problem. Maybe I'm just lucky. If I did have a problem their prices would probably make up for any poor service but I've never had poor service. I've certainly used them for more than 10 years.

Have now ordered four times from UK Office Direct and have been delighted not only with their service but also the comprehensive nature of their catalogue. When I ordered the wrong desk by mistake, customer service smoothly took the situation in hand, cancelled the item and replaced it with the new order. Refund was organised without a fuss, delivery was fast and efficient and I was delighted to have the problem solved so well. And, to top it all, the desk and pedestals turned out to be my consumer item of the year, well-designed and made, at a very reasonable price. I have in the past used other online suppliers for office and stationery supplies but will now always make UK Office Direct my first port of call.

Used a company credit card to pay for the order to be delivered next day and they wanted me to send a photo of the card and send via email! I said I wasn't happy to do this and they cancelled my order. Very unprofessional and a waste of time.

Ordered on Monday, they called to say delivery was going to be arriving in 30 minutes on Friday afternoon, I said no problem, had staff waiting round for the next 1 and 45 minutes but by now their office is shut. Monday Morning 9:00 I get told when I call that there was nobody here, I ask for the time of attempted delivery as there was and we have 17 CCTV cameras on our office and yard so we can prove them wrong. I get told no problem it will hopefully be here today but I will get a call. Another 2 calls later from me, by now 17:20, the warehousing are hoping to deliver on Thursday! Even though it was not my fault they obviously ran out of time or couldn't be bothered on Friday to deliver I have to wait, annoyed I didn't cancel this morning and order elsewhere but I have now! Never again....

It was my first order. I called them twice to find out status of my order. I was to send them copy of my card at the end i was told my money has been refunded without telling any reason. No email, no phone call, just cancel my order. no wonder why people buy from AMAZON. Such waste of time.
