FAQ

Do you accept insurance and what is the cost for patients without insurance?

We do accept insurance, but it depends on the individual therapist. Some therapists may accept certain insurances while others do not. For patients without insurance, the cost varies depending on the type of service needed and the therapist providing the service. We have a sliding scale fee system based on income, so we can work with clients to find a fee that is affordable for them.

What types of counseling services do you offer?

We offer a variety of counseling services including family counseling, marriage or relationship counseling, mental health clinics, psychomotor therapy, and psychotherapy. We have a team of experienced and qualified counselors who can provide a range of therapeutic interventions to suit the individual needs of our clients.

Can you provide references or success stories from past clients?

Yes, we can provide references or success stories from past clients upon request. We understand the importance of feeling comfortable with a therapist and hearing about their successes with other clients. We value client confidentiality, but we can provide anonymized examples of how our therapists have helped other clients in similar situations.

How many sessions does the typical counseling process entail?

The number of counseling sessions needed varies depending on the individual needs of the client. Some clients may only need a few sessions, while others may need ongoing therapy for a longer period of time. Our therapists work collaboratively with clients to determine the best course of treatment for their specific situation.

What is your success rate with clients resolving their relationship or marital issues?

We believe that success is subjective and can mean different things to different people. Our therapists work with clients to help them achieve their goals, which could include improving communication, resolving conflicts, or rebuilding trust. We cannot give a specific success rate, but our therapists are trained and experienced in helping clients navigate relationship and marital issues.

I was advised to contact UK counselling network by a social prescriber through my GP. They messed up my appointment time initially and then on the day that my appointment was rescheduled no one called me. I had to chase this up and then when I was finally assessed they decided that my issues were too severe for them to help me. I asked for a second opinion and they completely ignored my requests and forwarded all my calls to voicemail. No one has had the consideration to respond to me. I think this is a really inconsiderate and unprofessional way to deal with someone, especially someone who is struggling with their mental health. The main issues I have are with confidence, stress and decision making, so I'm not sure why this is too advanced for someone to deal with. I find the response below absolutely pathetic. I tried calling repeatedly to be reassessed and you forwarded all my calls to voicemail. This is NOT an appropriate way to respond to someone. The comment below does not rectify this at all. As for confidentiality you can see my name on the review. I am on a low income and am now having to pay for counselling I can barely afford. If someone were willing to speak to me and reassess and still come to the same conclusion then that's fair enough but to ignore all my texts, calls and voicemails after 1 15 minute conversation I think that's really poor.
