So lucky to live so close to this peaceful and beautiful place. You’d never know you were so close to Brum and the Black Country. Nestled under Clent this quiet wood is home to so many birds, badgers, foxes and deer. It is full of wildlife, flora and just a lovely place to be. At the time of this review April 2023 it’s full of Bluebells and it makes it a magical place to visit. The car park holds about 30 cars. It’s a lovely place to just be. Go see it. You won’t be disappointed

Quiet but feint traffic background noise. Can be muddy during damp weather. Regular deer sightings. Good Bluebell show. Central path ok for wheelchairs/prams.

Beautiful and peaceful woodland. I saw a Muntjac deer as well. Small car park, it can get full but the woods are so big you dont really run into people if you dont want to. I have been 3 times, still not discovered it all. I will use this for my runnng as well in summer time.

Would be very easy to get lost here. There's a map on the car park (which is free) so we took a picture of it for future reference. They have a great system for dog poo bags too where you just hang them on designated poles. They are frequent on the main paths. Really lovely area and relatively flat . THe ground was frozen when we went, but I imagine it would be quite muddy after a downpour so take your wellies, but you are in woods so to be expected!

Lovely place to walk but experience was let down by getting locked in car park. The carpark closes 8pm, and the tiniest of signs is used to show these times, with a charge to release if your car is locked in.
