Worst train station I’ve seen in my life. Ticket office closed. The platforms look abandoned. Windows taped over. Rubbish everywhere… Came as tourists, as we live in a different county, parked car via JustPark so we can take a train into Birmingham city centre to avoid extra charges. It was so scary that we turned around and went back to the car. Never again. I’d rather pay the ULEZ fee and park in the city centre than go to this place again, which is what we did after we got over the shock.
