Not just my favourite violin shop – my all-time favourite shop in London. The owners and staff are extremely friendly, patient, and helpful. They'll help you find a lovely instrument and bow at whatever budget you like. As a traditional fiddle player, they are judgement-free when it comes to style, and everyone gets the same use of the gorgeous practice / test room. Very good range of accessories and cases etc. I travel around the world a lot for work, and like to have a browse around strings shops. Guivier is still the gold standard, and that's why I will always go there first.

I was in London with a 1920's violin that needed some attention. Probably lower value than the shop is used to dealing with, they were very kind and took the time to recommend what needed doing to restore it, maintain it and also provided me with it's history. Very knowledgeable and user friendly.

What an absolutely fantastic place. My daughter, my wife and I visited on Saturday afternoon (December 3rd) at short notice. We were looking to upgrade our daughters 3/4 to a 7/8 or full size after 5 years playing. The owners set a quite room for her to try various models and bows over several hours. They showed an amazing amount of patience, professionalism and respect to our 17 year old daughter, and gave well needed help and advice throughout. We could not have been made to feel more welcome and looked after. This is a brilliant establishment with superb customer focus. It is certainly our 'go to' place for instruments and related needs from this point on. 10/10 for every aspect. We highly recommend.
