Barry and Kerrie provided lights for our wedding a few years ago, and the venue just looked amazing! We got married at Quarry Bank Mill and they put up the lost gorgeous festoon lighting all throughout the room, and big love letters for the dancefloor. The staff told us after they’ve never seen the room look as good! They were really professional to work with and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They even made a special board to go over the top table to hang the lights off, so grateful for the effort they put in and would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!

We wanted some extra lighting and seating for our venue and hiring from Typical Type was easy and straightforward. They suggested items that would work well at our venue and were very accommodating when we changed our minds a few times. The pallet seating was such a welcome addition to the venue as it made it more relaxed and less formal which was exactly what we wanted. We’d definitely recommend Typical Type.

Typical Type provided the outdoor lighting for our wedding at The Out Barn, in Clitheroe. It was perfect! First of all, it was much needed due to the time of year (February!). We couldn’t have asked for a lovelier set of tables and chairs then loaned to us by Typical Type for our pub wedding in September. They really complimented and elevated the setting and Barry and his team were just the friendliest and most helpful folks we could have asked for. Special thanks to the guys who delivered and collected for hiking the lot up the external fire escape too! Couldn’t recommend TT strongly enough.

We hired Typical Type for the lighting and room dressing of our 2022 wedding which had been postponed 3 times due to COVID. The day of your wedding you really don't want to be stressing about where lights, candles, or anything else should be placed and we were so pleased and thankful that they turned up, got to work, and left again without saying more than 'hi'! The rooms were beautifully dressed, with copper string lights and big star lights hung and placed visibly but not intrusively, and these little touches just made everything feel special. Collecting the materials was also seamless, with the staff coming early the following day. They turned up when they said they would, dressed the room fantastically, and removed everything the following day - what more could you want. Barry was brilliant in the run up to the event, responding to emails promptly and making sure he knew everything he needed to about what we had in mind and the venue. Barry made it such an easy process all the way throughout. He made sure that we were able to achieve the look we wanted and was very supportive with helping us decide what would look best for our theme but also the venue. Typical Type are a reliable, friendly and fantastic family run company, would definitely recommend!
