I joined Typhoon Dragons club to train for a 200m Dragon Boat charity race in 2021 with a team completely new to the sport. We found the club to be very friendly, kind and helpful and we received excellent training and support throughout. For a race that was very competitive, we proudly finished strong. Really enjoyed the experience and met lovely people. Decided to continue with the training to become a better paddler, and to take part in more race challenges... and the club socials! The sport helped me to become fitter and stronger, and now proud to have a new skill under the belt. Its a unique team sport and adds great variety to your workout. Works on strength, conditioning, cardio and coordination... Plus Joys and Laughter! Win Win! We finished 1st place on the charity race the 2nd time round! Great result! ... Now maybe it's time to head for GB! With the vast amount of GB experience within the team, I'm confident I'm in good hands!

I got into Dragon boating by accident after signing up to a Dragon Boat Race. Howard from Typhoon was our trainer. After the race the Typhoon community were so lovely and welcoming that I had to go back. Since then I have met ChiChi, Kim and so many other people who make me want to keep going back. If in doubt give it a try! Dragon boat is awesome.

It’s a fantastic number 1 club & the best in London .If your looking for fitness & a new team sport is a great place to be . It has amazing coaches, awesome members with international experience & vast knowledge of the sports .There’s variety of equipments available to use from carbon paddles , buoyancy aids & paddling machine to single craft boat (O1) with one to one coaching is also available when required. It’s a also a fun club with lots of social activities around😎my life experience has changed soo much since I joined Typhoon 👍
