I would NOT recommend buying a car from here unless you want to pay hundreds to get it repaired which is what I had to do after four months! They have good customer service but this is used as deception. Save yourself from being deceived.

I'd been looking for a first car for my son and came across TWP Cars on Auto traders. I can't recommend Ash enough! Looking for your first car then definitely head down to Ash. Aftersales, not a problem - looked after us well. Will definitely be back once my daughter passed her test and recommend TWP Cars to everyone I know.

Has to be the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a (so called) dealer. Sold the car for scrap within the month of buying losing a lot of money. Car was awful and the aftercare even worse.

Yes, the car we bought was cheap and we expected it would need some work, but it had a 2-3 week old MOT and low mileage. I took it straight to my mechanic and it had dangerous levels of rust on the sills and the reversing light is broken - not sure if electrics or just the bulb yet, but well find out soon enough. There is simply no way this car should have passed its test. We knew it wasn't going to be perfect so I expected rust. However, at the time, when I asked about the sills, they said it's pretty normal and nothing to worry about and offered to apply extra sealant to it at their garage, so they must have been aware of the state of the damage. We had it repaired as we like the car and want to save it if we can. Also using different names - selling on AutoTrader as "Rickmansworth Used Cars"

I bought a Kia Picanto in February and I've had the car just over 6 months and I've had to change the front brake pads and discs, the two front tyres, correct the fault with the ABS system and now I'll have to spend even more money on replacing the rear brake pads and discs. The ABS fault was there when I bought the car and I brought the car back to site and was told that the part would have be ordered and I'll get a phone call once the part was available. Did I get a phone call? No. How this car passed an MOT, I'll never know. I shouldn't have to have all that work done to a car in such a short space of time. I bought the car when it had just over 51,000 miles on the clock. I've driven less than 10,000 miles and I shouldn't have to be changing both sets of brake pads and discs, doing that low of a mileage. This leads me to believe that this "company" was fully aware of this and still had the brass neck to sell me the car anyway. What leaves a sour taste in my mouth and makes me angry, is that I had my one year old daughter with me when I bought the car and that obviously made no difference whatsoever, as money was more important. Some people really don't have a conscious . I will be contacting the Citizens Advice Bureau and I will obtain independent legal advice with a view to taking this "company" through the small claims court, with the view to getting back the money I've had to pay out to correct the serious issues with this car. I will say to anyone reading this, do NOT buy a car from this "company". Safety obviously isn't top of their priority list.
