Have bought wood from here a couple of times about a year ago and dealt with a younger man who was very helpful. Even informed me that although they don't deliver, they would be able to arrange a courrier for me. In the end I bought several sheets of plywood which he tied to the roof of my car for me. However, I visited recently and was welcomed by a very quiet yard, which looked very empty (compared to my previous visits). I waited around for a few minutes before I decided to knock on the house at the front where I was greeted by a man who only really seemed concerned with whatever I could take off his hands now. I told him my requirements (hoping he would give me a quote) but he just listed off some prices and said it was all in stock and I should come back when I can take it away (he didn't even ask the quantities I wanted and it turned out he didn't have everything I needed anyway). I just got the impression he didn't really want to sell anything and had something more interesting going on inside, not really the service you expect when you go to a business with a £1000 in your back pocket!
