Located on a strange island that you wouldn't want to walk through on your own in the dark. Bar prices are ok, but otherwise its a bit like being in a church hall. And the smoking area is a longer walk away than the toilets in a Wetherspoons.

This club should not be allowed on the river. They think they are the river king taking all the space, they don't respect the other on the river and what make me wright this review is because on the last week of October, I saw them rowing over a swimmer, who I hope is fine today, and not only then didn't stop but shouted at him. They should learn the basic which is to check where they go and don't forget that the river is for everyone to share...

Advertising the club as friendliest on the Thames on social is inaccurate as it seemingly fails to allow for walk-in enquiries, as opposed to the other welcoming fine member clubs in the area. 3 stars given to the unparallaled heritage that goes into the establishment, but not the preliminary experience. Advertising a business (even if a private members club) as friendly in today's digital world involves a fair bit of inclusion. #ipsofacto
