I've edited this review because I previously said the racecourse was run down and needed a lot of work done to it. In recent years a lot of work HAS been done, so I can't leave my previous review unchanged! It looks so much better now, and still holds big events.

Not used as a racecourse anymore. Horse trials venue with many competitions throughout the year. Also cross country course available for hire for training. Huge variety of fences, definitely worth a visit!
