Tweseldown Playgroup has been lovely for our son. The staff are approachable, caring, supportive and enthusiastic. He has really enjoyed the setting with the good variety of interesting resources and activities. The outdoor space is fantastic with a forest area as well as a shady garden and covered eating area and adventure playground. Their weekly stay and play sessions during the summer really helped him to settle in before starting as it became so familiar before he had even started. The committee is also a great support for playgroup really adding to the sense of community.

My daughter really came out of her shell thanks to the nurturing and friendly nature of all of the staff and the activities and opportunities provided. It set her up for her future education so well. My son has made such huge progress, particularly with his speech, since starting playgroup. The outdoor environment is fantastic with plenty of covered areas so that children are out in all weather's, large wooded area and now a fun new slide. The children have loved the trips to the farm and the gym too. A great team and I'm so glad my family get to be part of this wonderful playgroup community.

My boys have particularly enjoyed the free flow inside and outside. The outside and woodland area is such a great space to explore.

We couldn’t be happier with our choice of Tweseldown Playgroup for our daughter. We had to look around the setting with no children there during lockdown so was apprehensive on getting a real feel for the place. However, within seconds of meeting the manager and looking at the fantastic indoor and outdoor spaces they offer we just knew it was going to be perfect! She started aged 3, and was actually quite behind in speech at the time. Within the first term she was a different and suddenly a very chatty child! The staff are incredibly supportive and really have that motherly and nurturing feel which I just love. They are totally child focused and they interact brilliantly with all children whilst giving them the freedom to choose and play as they wish.

Tweseldown Playgroup is a wonderful community playgroup with a warm nurturing environment. My son started at 2 years 9 months for a couple of days a week and is now attending full time aged 4. He has grown considerably in confidence over the past year and I credit the staff for their encouragement and dedication to making it a fun and engaging place to learn through play. Having previously used other larger nurseries, with much higher fees, I'm so glad I was introduced to Tweseldown Playgroup by other local parents and would highly recommend the friendly, intimate setting. The safety and development of the children is the top priority.
