Really nice restaurant! Staff are very accommodating, I managed to book in (it was a little last minute) for my parents wedding anniversary dinner. We were early and got seated so that was lovely. I like how we were offered drinks straight away, I feel everywhere should do that. I was pleased the menu had traditional Italian meals. The starters were excellent, the prawns in sambucca chilli butter was fantastic and I am so glad the guy looking after us brought me some bread to dip in the sauce 👌🏼. I would say prices of starters were a little high, or to make the portion a little bigger would justify the price, but it is what it is, we go out, we expect this. There were a few bumps but it was always resolved by staff so thank you as we did feel bad for a few mis-communications. The mains were amazing, Vitello my favourite, lamb chops perfect 👍🏼. Get the ciambelle with Nutella omg amazing a unique dessert!! The tiramisu was delicious too. Limited vegetarian options unfortunately had run out of one that night. Overall an excellent meal, & lovely staff.

I never order a steak in an Italian restaurant. For some unknown reason tonight I did. I'm from South Africa and we eat a lot of really good red meat. For the last 3 years I have tried steaks at various different resturants and have never had a steak as good as the one I had tonight here. I can honestly say it could compare to any steak I've had in SA. Well done tender and tasty I will be back shortly with my family!

It's always difficult to give stars when the different variables are all over the place. But in the end, this is it. Let me explain. The title suggests an Italian restaurant, but it's more a Mediterranean fusion restaurant. Which is fine! The interior is semi classy, a lot of green/bronze, what seems to be the way to go these days. It's sort of soulless, no personal distinction in style or signature. The cocktails we had were a bit off. The espresso martini was too sweet for my taste and the Negroni seemed to be a variety of the Negroni Sbagliato, it was seriously diluted with (I think) fizzy water...? 😳 The same happened with my starter, an Italian classic, a Caprese salad. So simple: tomato, mozzarella and basil. So why did I find rocket and lettuce and one (1) basil leaf? My main course was monkfish, and I assume that was not fresh, but frozen. It was very chewy. When I asked for another Italian classic (an affogato), the waitress had no idea. When explained, she brought me an nice espresso and some delicious ice cream. And charged me £7,45 for it... I can understand that the whole operation is not yet calibrated, but almost a 100 pound for a very mediocre dinner for two is just not on. I hope they can get their act together soon, because the location is great and it has lots of potential.
