We would like to recommend to anyone thinking of hydrotherapy for their beloved pet to choose Tudor. Beth Count the hydrotherapist is professional, friendly, honest in her opinion to what treatment is required and also if it may not be the right thing for your pet. She treated our lovely boy Jasper until unfortunately he had reached the point where it wasn’t effective through no fault of Beth’s as he’d had other medical problems as well. We since have lost our boy through his other health problems but do believe the treatment he received through Beth helped with his arthritis and joint movement. Since we lost him Beth stayed in touch and gave us great comfort at a difficult time which she didn’t have to do. Her clients are special to her and that shows in bucket fulls. Thankyou Beth.

Beth is everything you could ask for : helpful, kind, reassuring, and the dog loves her and positively looks forward to attending for sessions. The therapy has been of huge benefit to our elderly golden retriever and has helped her regain her confidence, strengthen her hind leg muscles and generally given her a new lease of life. Totally recommended!

What can one say about one's canine companion? You take on this small pup at 8 weeks with love and affection. Committed to him for life not just for Xmas!! You spend hours, days, weeks months and years together, enjoying each other's company. Never left alone, always taken on holidays, enjoying sport together. Then in the twilight of his years in July 2022 he has a freak injury that you think will end his days there and then. Taken to vets, unable to support himself on his back legs, waiting for the verdict!! That thankfully never comes, he's given pain relief! Medication, rest recommendation and also alternative therapy recommendations. You sleep downstairs, uncomfortable on the settee, watching listening unable to relax. Then you start to look into Hydrotherapy. What is it? How will improve your best friend's mobility? what's the upside? What's the downside? where are these places located? cost? travel? How long will it take? Will it help or just prolong his suffering, a dog needs his legs to support him! Our previous dogs we were advised to PTS, questions questions!! Then out of your investigations you find a hydrotherapy close to you, you read the literature, the testimonials, look at pictures. Then contact your insurance to make sure you have the right cover to proceed. Yes!! Next contact the Tudor Hydrotherapy number, to be greet by a welcoming female voice, a saviour for my best friend. We talk through the details of his symptoms. She's understanding, we book in for our first session, we feel SAFE!! The first meeting was full of investigation, filming movement of my best pal, checking details, then fitting the harness for him to walk into what looked like a square pressure cooker with a moving floor of rubber! I often wonder what Flyn was thinking that day. But he willingly walked in and surprisingly took to it like a duck to water. He was gently handled by skilled hands and a knowledgeable head. Motions monitored; the slightest anomaly was noticed. He came out of the cooker with a smile on his face, wet tummy, legs and paws. The relief on his face of being able to move his legs with the support of the water was fantastic. How many sessions have we attended I couldn't really count them as we are still going. Flyn's quality of life as improved, yes there has been the bad days but more good ones. He's enjoying his walks; his mobility is back he celebrated his 15th birthday on 15th October 22. He loves going to the sessions. You only have to say let's go see Beth. He knows he is going to get the best of the best care ever. Dogs are for life! even if they get injured and have arthritic limbs. We don't have to prematurely end that time. We can focus on the positive care of hydrotherapy for dogs, that gives us more time to be with our best friends. Thank you, Beth, you've given us more precious days with our boy than we ever expected. Got a friend with problems? Think about hydrotherapy and talking to Beth to see what can be done for your best pal. You will be amazed!!

Beth has helped my dog to progress from being quite lame to being able to walk and run normally, through a course of treatment and many helpful suggestions. She is friendly, patient, and very professional. Ruby loved her sessions and it was fun to watch too.

Our rescue dog Tate only has 3 legs and one of them has also previously been broken and operated on twice, he is also quite nervous. Beth is absolutely wonderful with him! He comes to hydrotherapy every two weeks and he loves it, Beth makes him feel so at ease and comfortable, he has loved her right from the start, she is so great with him despite his nervous nature. The facilities are brilliant, they are clean with everything you could need. The hydrotherapy is very clearly working, the sessions are tailored perfectly for Tate and he is obviously stronger (you can feel it in his weak broken leg) and also he is happier on walks thanks to his ongoing treatment. Beth is so knowledgeable about what is best for him and how to support him with regards to complementary treatment, even though he is quite an unusual and complex case. We really can't recommend Tudor enough and we are so glad we found Tudor for our special boy!

Fabulous service and great results! Beth knows her stuff and genuinely cares about her clients. My 13 year old mastiff cross was very ill last year and as a result lost strength and a large amount of muscle mass from his hind legs, I thought that was it and I’d lost him. He saw a neurologist who suggested a less invasive treatment plan and honestly, Hydrotherapy has been a life saver, getting strength back and a good quality of life. I saw results after the first few sessions. He has ongoing treatment now as he has a degenerative spinal condition that needs to be managed, hydrotherapy has maintained his muscle, reduces any pain and helped increase his stamina, he’s back to back to 3 walks a day and keen to get out, such a turn around in the 12 months we’ve been seeing Beth.

A big thank you to Beth for helping get our 10 year old Cocker Spaniel, Meg, back to feeling a bit more like her old self after surgery from a slipped disc. I can't say Meg enjoyed the treadmill 😜but the care and attention given by Beth to overcome her trepidation and give her back freedom of movement and normal life were wonderful.

Tudor Hydrotherapy was recommend to us by our vets practice after our 12 month old lab showed signs of hip dysplasia. At the first session Beth explained the process to us in detail and gave advice on how to up his walk times and off lead exercise so that we worked in tandem with the hydrotherapy. Eddie has now been attending for 6 months, his progress is amazing and he has not shown any signs of lameness since. Beth has worked hard during the national lockdowns to ensure everyone's safety and that sessions can still go ahead. Finally, Eddie loves his hydro sessions and practically runs into Beth's arms when she comes out to collect him and that alone deserves 5 stars!

Tudor hydrotherapy are fantastic! My boys go for fitness as they compete in dog agility and I’ve never been to anywhere as experienced in enhancing my dogs performance. They video sessions and analyse my dogs gait which then helps spot weakness to improve muscle in the areas that are weaker and also to help spot any injuries between physiotherapy sessions. I couldn’t recommend them any more for fitness and for injuries.
