Overpriced ice cream and cakes ( £7 for a cup of ice cream and £6.6 for an extremely small cake roll) and they were not as good as I was expecting. The dango on the ice-cream had a taste of uncooked rice, while the cake roll was as dry as a new cleaning sponge, with dripping cream that created a weird combination. Personally I was expecting something way better if they were so pricey. Customer service was very poor and it felt like the staff were not enough trained. So initially I ordered an £7 ice-cream and a £6.6 cake roll but the staff misheard the cake roll for a £6.8 cheesecake and put that instead on my order. I got the receipt, immediately realised it was wrong, and said “hi sorry I meant a cake roll, not cheesecake”, they were like “of course” and gave me the cake roll, but didn't even think about giving the overcharged 20p back. I had to talked to them again for that and they were really confused like “you changed your order so...”. Well first of all I didn't change anything, you misheard it; Secondly, even if I changed anything, does that give you any right to charge a customer for a product at an incorrect price??? I know it was just 20p which didn't seem to be a big deal and I did get them back after an absolutely inefficient conversation because the staff just didn't care. But under this situation it was not about how much I was overcharged, it was more about their attitude that made me upset. How could you just let me pay for a price of another product and didn't even think of giving me the extra back? Absolutely ridiculous. Needless to mention that my order was for take away but was given as an eat-in one while there were literally no available tables. Then a member of the staff ignored me when I was asking them for a take away bag. One of the staff even ignored me, like I was the one who made mistakes all the time wasting people's time there. The only thing I did wrong today was to decide to go there. Seriously, if you are so busy and so careless of listening to your customers, why don't you just put a self-checkout tablet there so people can order by themselves if they'd like to? I was really looking forward to going there but was extremely frustrated when I left. I understand that it was busy at the store, but understanding and respect should always be mutual. I'd say it's a nice place if you have never tried matcha stuff and would like to try matcha for the very first time in your life, but personally I won't be visiting again.

Nice place, we got some ice creams that were very tasty! They offer things like green tea flavoured whippy ice cream. Worth a look if you fancy an alternative to the usual offerings in terms of dessert!

Best Matcha house in Leeds! Very authentic taste and I love those basque cheesecakes. Highly recommend to those who love Matcha 🍵 Seen people saying it’s overpriced but as I know the price is the same across all franchise stores and matcha is expensive in general anyway.
