A friend had recommended this shop to me . I was looking for a specific book. I try my best to only use independent stores so did not want to use Amazon. On walking in we were welcomed. The store is open, bright and airy. I spoke to a woman who turned out to be the owner about what I wanted, she said she would look for me whilst I took the children downstairs. Wow the children's area is so inviting! We had a wonderful time carefully looking through the books and sitting to read them, exploring some more. We selected two children's books and went back upstairs. The owner told me they didn't have the book I wanted in stock but it could be here tomorrow. At the till I left my details, ordered my book, paid for the others. All whilst having a chat, and watching 3 kids.Very swift and relaxing experience. The shop has lovely inviting displays, and information about upcoming events. We will definitely be back , such an asset to the community. 💗💕📚📚

Excellent location and just the type of bookshop you see in films - friendly staff willing to share brilliant recommendations of books, book reading for toddlers downstairs and a treasure trove of books from the new to the classic. A wonderful store that I cannot resist carting books away with me!
