I found some of the food good, not great. Definitely overpriced. My entree (oven/grill). £32 for 2 slices of lamb and a pile (literally a pile) of a raw veg (endive, chicory or something) with some seasoning and salt. That has to be the laziest entrée I have seen in a long time. The service was so cold I assume they recruit from the people the HMRC rejects for poor customer service. Our plates were almost thrown on the table. Absolutely no interaction or guidance on the menu when asked. When asked the difference between the cod and the monkfish dishes, the answer "they're fish", is not very helpful. Finally, not sure why you ask if it is a special occasion (it was) and then neither acknowledge or do anything. Thankfully I only live around the corner so I did not go out of my way and I certainly would not recommend anyone else do so.

Delicious, elegant Italian food with nice ambience, good lighting and chic decor. Service was quite slow but the owner’s gift of one of the most delicious red wines I’ve had in ages, more than made up for it.
