I had an amber advisory on my MOT carried out by Kwikfit, Gravesend, Kent in May 2022. The amber advisory stated that my front brake pads & discs required replacing. I received a from Kwikfit whilst my car was still with them, pressuring me into replacing the brake pads & discs for charge of £250-350. I am pleased and relieved to say that I persisted on completing the job at another time. Nearly a year on, I finally booked my car in for March 2023, into Triggs Garage, Brentwood, for the brake and an additional job following an alert on my dashboard. I received a call Soon after inspection, I was informed that it was 12mil on the pads therefore not requiring replacement. It was in good condition and practically new! I am so grateful to Triggs, so overwhelmed by their integrity and great customer service - amazing! As for Kwikfit, disgusted and I will be consulting their HQ!!!
