A family evening. Attended the pottery with my father (70s), daughter (16) and I won't disclose my age, but somewhere in the middle(ish). Daniel was a wonderful teacher and struck the balance between giving enough information and assistance, whilst knowing when to leave us to our own devices! The session formed three stages. 1. We watched Daniel show us what to do and explain how to do it. 2. We created our first pot, in small steps, with instructions and help when required. 3. We made our second pot, with more confidence and anticipating that our place on the next pottery showdown would soon be in our grasp! This method of teaching worked really well for all of us. The pottery itself was warm and welcoming. We were provided with aprons and towels and there was on site parking. This was a new experience but one which we intend to repeat.

A great way to spend a couple of hours! Daniel is fantastic. Very clearly and thoroughly explained tuition. We felt as though we learned a huge amount in a short space of time. Only criticism, we would have preferred to walk away with slightly more wonky pots with less expert correction to feel as though we had really made something by ourselves. But, having said that, we would absolutely go back for more! Would definitely recommend. Thank you Daniel.
