My friend from Utah was craving good Italian food. We had two choices here or Trullo; I wish we were not so tired and had gone to Trullo. The bruschetta was tasty, crunchy and not overloaded but they did not give us side plates to eat it with, which I thought was odd. Our food arrived randomly my friend ordered the spaghetti bolognese and a side of vegetables; her side of vegetables never arrived and we had to remind the waitress about it. My tortellini was average and could have done with more basil leaves. My friend had a cheesecake that she liked. Was amazed out bill came to £66. I found the food average and not spectacular; maybe you need to order the specials and not the basics. Ask for tap water and they only take cash.

My husband and I tried to pay the bill with 3 cards, all with enough balance and in all attempts it was wrong. The waiter very matter-of-factly suggested that I withdraw money from the cashier across the street. I cashed and paid, but soon after we decided to test our cards at another establishment and what was our surprise when the attendant told me that this Italian restaurant is known for "forcing" people to pay in cash so as not to incur a card fee. And of course, my card worked perfectly afterwards as it had everywhere I went from Paris to London. Only in this place did the card mysteriously "fail". The food didn't make up for the headache and nervousness at our last meal before leaving the country. I strongly advise against going there. (Original) Nunca mais volto nesse restaurante e faço questão de avaliar aqui para o máximo de pessoas saberem. Eu e meu esposo tentamos pagar a conta com 3 cartões, todos com saldo suficiente e em todas as tentativas dava erro. O garçom com muita naturalidade sugeriu que eu sacasse o dinheiro no caixa do outro lado da rua. Eu saquei e paguei, mas logo em seguida resolvemos testar nossos cartões em outro estabelecimento e qual não foi nossa surpresa quando o atendente contou que esse restaurante italiano é conhecido por "forçar" as pessoas a pagarem em dinheiro para não incidir taxa do cartão.
