We bought the flooring from them for the entire house that we recently bought. They offered taking out old carpets and full installation. We accepted as they had relatively good reviews. The work was done by each day different traders arriving on site. We have issues with the flooring throughout the house ever since. All our calls for someone to visit and inspect were rebuffed by saying they are too busy or that has nothing to do with them as traders and office staff that dealt with us have left. Still waiting for the company to take the responsibility. Avoid at any cost!

Fantastic choice of flooring but sale of real wood flooring to cover entire 3 bed house was lost due to really poor customer service and rudeness from one particular member of staff (chap wearing a cap) who looked genuinely angry that I asked him for help, and basically told me to go and get what I needed myself. 1st and last visit.

If you want to admire a wide range of planks of wood flooring, then this is the place for you. But don't expect anything more than that. Customer service is appalling. The female staff, to fair make a haphazard attempt at service, the male staff are useless when they aren't being rude. But tbh I don't think any of them are aware of what they are selling, and are simply caretakers waiting to clock out. All answers to any questions are simply deferred, they won't have an answer to the standard questions a customer would ask. The item labeling is absolutely confusing and the pricing is consistently unclear. You are expected to scan QR codes for pricing but wait, some of the codes are out of date and don't work! I'm willing to bet my savings that this branch will be out of business within a couple years.

Very wide selection of flooring available. The showroom is well maintained and cozy. Ordered 30sq.m laminate flooring today. Deducting 2 stars because of the suboptimal customer experience. First, the entire showroom was covered by only 2 young sales representatives. We basically ended up servicing ourselves. Secondly, at checkout I asked whether free delivery could be offered (or an equivalent small discount to cover the delivery costs) given 1) order placed was >£1k; 2) found the exact same product online ~12% cheaper and showed the online quote to the young lady. She didn’t seem too bothered their pricing is uncompetitive. I ended up placing the order (which costed me an extra ~£150 on the order), because I like supporting local businesses. However little bit of sales experience and acumen would have made me feel like a valuable and happy customer (the 5* type customer).

We went to the orpington showroom yesterday, select 5 sqm of vinyl laminate floor. Lady at the reception was friendly and helpful but at the time of check out they asked for £50 delivery charges even though i was collecting at the shop right there right now. I was told by delivery charges are added by manufacturer and must be paid even if it is being collected at the store. Not sure about this store policy or target market audience like catering to retail customers or commercial, but it is very unhelpful to ask £50 delivery charges.

I used Trendy Flooring to supply and install new parquet walnut flooring (and skirting boards) as part of full property refurbishment and was really happy with the customer service, professionalism and workmanship. The team of fitters that did the installation were very polite, whatever questions or requests I had were never an issue for them but most importantly the end product was to a very high standard. Finally, the customer support from Simeon before, during and after the installation was excellent. If I had any questions on the care and maintenance of the flooring, wanted to add materials to the order, change dates to suit my schedule, etc he was always there to respond and accommodate my requests. I had a very positive experience with Trendy Flooring and if anyone wants peace of mind they are using specialist engineered wood floor installers who use high quality materials then I recommend speaking with them.
