AWFUL EXPERIENCE Gave a designer £300+ beige bag to them the re-sew the leather handle as a thread had come loose (have used the bag for 2-3 years) so it needed a little upkeep. The shoe guy there said he could do it; I come back to collect and he’s opened the stitching and filled the handle with SUPERGLUE to reseal it, if I wasn’t so mad I’d cry. Any 4 year old could have done a neater job of it too. The handle interior is now glued into place and visible, the superglue has hardened and now can’t be removed, the handle is ruined; the harsh product has also removed the paint on other parts of the handle - they are amateurs.

Don’t go here!! I was very clear about needing to pick an item up by a certain date, it’s been closed every day I’ve tried to pick up. It’s now taken 2 weeks to take a hem up on an item and I ended up having to buy something different to wear for the event. Still haven’t been able to collect my item. Opening times online different to those operated by the shop, clearly. Can’t get through on the phone. Genuinely terrible service. Service: Alterations

Absolute scam artists. Terrible key cutting, completely nonfunctional, and double the price of Timpsons. Here’s me trying to support an independent shop 🤷♂️ Update: Had my watch battery changed at the same time. It’s lasted less than a week and has just stopped working. Absolutely pathetic excuse for a business. I’m sure HMRC would be interested to see your books…
