Dougie recently did some repair work on a couple of my guitars. He did a fantastic job and they are now as good as new. I can’t thank him enough and would highly recommend him to anyone

Brought my Fender Telecaster to Dougie for a service, setup, fret crowning and a new bone nut installing - which has been cut to perfection. The guitar was set up perfectly, great intonation and action, nut cut perfectly and smooth shiny frets that look brand new. He made a couple of suggestions for improvements on my guitar as I picked it up which he would fit for free if I sourced them. The suggestions were new intonated brass saddles as my stock ones were leaving me with an inconsistent string spacing. And another string tree for my middle two strings to increase string tension. These two additions have drastically improved the playability, tone and tuning stability of my guitar on top of the original setup. I can genuinely say my Telecaster has never felt and sounded so good - and I can highly recommend Treecreeper guitars! Dougie is also very courteous and listened to my issues with the guitar and solved them all with his knowledge and experience. 10/10

Dougie did some work on my daughter's guitar ( I don't know guitars so other than restringing it and adjusting the frets I can't explain what), and she says it sounds and plays better than it ever has. He was very nice, extremely reasonably priced and gave very quick service. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

I took my Yamaha acoustic to Dougie for damage assessment and a long overdue service. I was considering selling it and buying an electro acoustic but he suggested a cheaper alternative of installing an onboard pre-amp. I have to say, I'm absolutely over the moon with the results Dougie produced!! It looks and sounds tons better and for a very reasonable price. If you're considering having any work done on your stringed instrument, repair, setup, alteration etc, I would definitely recommend a visit or call to TreeCreeper Guitars, a nicer, more sincere and helpful guy you could not wish to meet!!

Once again Dougie came to my rescue and fixed my banjos broken resonator basically back to how it was pre-damage. He did a fantastic job and I honestly can't recommend him enough. Great guy who takes amazing pride in his work!

A visit to Dougie's workshop was a wonderful experience. He set up my (25 year old) Octave Mandola for a very reasonable fee. It now plays and sounds better than ever!
