Myself husband and family (including our dog) visited this site from 6th Aug - 17th in our caravan and it was everything we hoped it would be. Situated near Perranporth, Holywell and Newquay (5-10min drive to each), it was the perfect location for our first visit to Cornwall with our 2 children (9 and 12 yrs). The site was clean, friendly and had everything we needed- clean shower block and toilet facilities, laundry room, great play area and decent pitch size. Mobile signal is hit and miss- sometimes we would pick up 4G and sometimes we wouldn't; however, there are spots ons site that pick it up really well- site staff mentioned the site WiFi but warned us that when it was busy it wasn't great. The TV signal was great too. The site staff were welcoming and friendly and chatted when they were about recommending places to visit etc. they also carried out crafts for the children to take part in on some days and the shop had a 'borrow' selection of beach equipment (bodyboards, wetshoes, surf board) that was good to 'try before you spend a fortune buying' so I would definitely make use of this if it's something you haven't done before. The site itself had a mix of ages, lots of families and the children made friends quickly- it was really quiet and peaceful in the evening and in the mornings- never heard anyone before 9.30am! I would highly recommend this site and we will definitely be going back. 10/10

Really liked it. Friendly staff and mostly friendly folks. A couple of odd ones, but all in all a great place. Top tip. Buy a map - a paper one. Google and satnav struggle like mad. Also make sure you have loads of change for car parking. Hardly any machines take cards or notes.
