This was an excellent tour of Winchester’s history through the ages . Our guide Lilian was very knowledgeable , informative and charming and could discuss any question we put to her . We thought we knew Winchester !!! I would highly recommend the tour and Lilian as a guide . Despite the weather it was a delightful morning.

We booked a tour of Winchester with Lillian for our wedding guests, fourteen people in total ages from 7 to 77 and every single one of us said at the end: This was great! Lillian was fantastic. She did not just list facts and features but really engaged us in thinking about how history and people shaped the city and how its building came to be what they are. Lillian's competence, warmth and good spirit (she had to adapt to a sudden gust of unscheduled rain!) made our tour a very uplifting and memorable experience. We will definitely see Lillian again for more touring!
