Free parking , not far from town centre (10 min walk) check in experience could be improved (too slow) but other than that it’s a nice hotel for the price

This outlet is very modern rooms are modern and clean so are bathrooms and plenty parking on site with a restaurant and bar on site an added plus the downsides are the aircon is set to a low temperature and does not heat up the room at all even on high temp which made me permanetly cold in the room and even gave me a cold even though it was in May the shower cubicle is very small unless you are a lucky size 36 or below and the shower tap water floods the bathroom floor very easily the restaurant service is very slow and often have to stand waiting at bar and calling out for a long time before anyone comes and the person who eventually served at bar was very surly and rude as if i had interrupted their evening nap and the hasselback potatoes were served to me literally with ice in the middle which made the origins quite dubious otherwise its a sound choice far as budget hotels go just a pity these downsides pull it down a notch or two

Dependable and comfortable Travelodge. Fairly new so all sparkling clean. Only gripe was that breakfast was cleared away promptly at 10am although one member of staff did ask if we had finished with the hot food. Nice scrambled eggs and good to have Quorn sausages on offer. Coffee (cappuccino) not great and no orange juice available. Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 4/5 | Location : 5/5 … More

This is a decent hotel. I guess because it's in Solihull. The service was good. I stayed overnight. Breakfast was from 7am to 10am. Bit of a headache as it's hard to get a decent lie in and rest. Would suggest they extend breakfast timing till 12pm. Otherwise, the service was good.

Pleasant receptionist on welcoming, the room was basic. We booked for two nights. So glad it wasn't for longer, had to live out of a suitcase as there is only five hangers, no drawers, or cupboards. Carpets where all stained. The evening meal was fine and an edible curry. Though the breakfast was a disappointment no pancakes as advertised, no beans, a few pieces of mangy bacon, and a few fried eggs that looked like they'd been there since first service. Very unappetising. We should have waited until close of service and joined the staff having their fresh breakfasts. Went to a local supermarket the following morning for a cheaper , and much more filling breakfast. Not a budget option as a hotel. The WiFi that was paid for, didn't work either day, the Virgen WiFi does not have 24 hr customer service and kept sending me password changing emails when I sent an email asking when I was likely to have the service paid for. Again stood outside a supermarket in the town to get a WiFi signal.
