Won't be staying again.... Due to availability, at short notice I booked a room at this Travelodge. Firstly, there's a set of stairs to the access door, and it's not very clear where the accessible access is (it's actually around the back of the building up a not so appealing ramp to a metal doorway) - I didn't need it for myself, however it's something to consider. My room was then in a different building which you have to go back outside and across a courtyard, which is dimly lit, and there is not light above where you need to insert your card to gain access. I was also on the first floor which was adjacent to a road/path, which had a constant stream of people walking back from their nights out which was very loud (the upper floors probably don't have this issue). The room itself was nice and big with plenty of room, and a sizeable desk for working). It is dated though, and the cleanliness was poor. The corridor outside the room certainly hadn't been vacuumed for days, and neither had the room by the look of it. The shower and taps were all limescaled, and not very clean. The shower was just a tray with a curtain which results in the bathroom floor flooding. A bath mat was not provided - however there was a large towel on the towel rail which I assume was there for this reason (as the other towels were on the bed). The cost was also ridiculous for the standard of the hotel. I won't be booking again in a hurry.

Service always good here and for the price paid in London the rooms are excellent, well kept and clean and the showers are amazing! My only complaint is that phone and data signal is really weak and drops in and out in some rooms because of the hotel design - it would help if complimentary WiFi was given in these dead zones.
