Walking distance to Excel conference centre. All other hotels were full. I'd rather recommend moxy, Good at similar price point but much better. This is only an option when the others are full Rooms : 2/5 | Service : 2/5 | Location : 3/5 … More

It's ok rooms are the worst but and bar prices, however rooms are not that great no plug sockets by the bed only have USB ports and if you have USB c the plug sockets are on the other side of the room which is annoying. Pillows are hard and super uncomfortable. Rooms do come with soap even though when our room was cleaned it was never refilled but it being super busy I don't want to blame them for forgetting something like that. Room key cards are awful you cant have a credit card or phone near it as it will break which is super stupid and a simple fix getting key cards like premier Inn or something else like a passcode you can use and resets each time a room is bought

Not one of the better Travelodge’s we’ve stayed at. Great location if you are flying from London city airport but it’s not ideally situated for anything else. There is literally nothing around it, not even a shop. 15-20 min walk before you even reach a station on foot. Phone signal is non existent which is crazy considering it’s London. Wifi is poor (30 mins free). Room was basic, bed was very uncomfortable. Mattress completely worn and requires replacement. Hardly any toilet paper in rooms and these aren’t replenished. Breakfast looked very unappetising, so like others have mentioned, we also used a Costa at the station. Staff were polite and helpful though. There is also NO air conditioning whatsoever in the rooms. It was warm when we stayed, but I imagine it would be absolutely stifling in the hot London summer heat. Thankfully we only stayed for one night but I wouldn’t use this particular Travelodge again.

Very loud due to the planes landing and taking off. Expensive parking. Bed bugs in rooms. Vile corridors. Rubbish everywhere. Dishes and cutlery on corridor floors. Absolutely disgusting humans for staff here. Not friendly. Not helpful. Not understanding. Receptionist Kai is a horrible rude human being. Breakfast staff are lovely older ladies though. Rooms: Infested with bed bugs

I recently stayed at the travel lodge, and overall, it wasn't terrible but a few things to mention. The room itself was pretty clean but didn't have an iron & board which I had to collect from downstairs. (You'd think being next to the excel and expecting business customer this would be the norm, the front of house said this was only the case for floors 1 &4?...). Foodwise, I'd suggest getting an Uber eats and fully avoiding the kitchen. The chef was very nice, but I don't think he is aware of his inability to cook!.. Picture attached of the pizza I ordered, none of which the toppings stayed on and well ended up looking like beans on toast! Shame as the ingredients probably weren't that bad, just the execution. It also took just under an hour to get to me. The bar has clean taps at least and the young chap serving me there was very nice. Finally, the service overall was actually very pleasant, the only issue I found was that almost every member of staff asked you to give them a stellar review on trip advisor, even the lady that checked me in after having a conversation of about 30 seconds... Just felt cheap and cringe. Overall, for the price, it is not unreasonable, just a few things to note above. Nearby activities: Very close to excel via bus or a 10-15 minute walk.

SO FAR THE WORST HOTEL. THEY DIDN'T HAVE A PHONE ON THE ROON EVEN TO BUY A PIZZA. IF YOU CAME FROM OTHER COUNTRY, MAKE SHORE Y EAT BEFORE ARRIVED. BUT IN THE MORNING, THE BREAKFAST WAS OK. Rooms : 1/5 | Service : 1/5 | Location : 1/5 … More
