Staff were pleasant enough. Room was awful. Carpet was filthy and the bathroom disgusting. Smell from the drains was sickening 😩 Quick walk from Kingscross and right beside Euston Station. Very very noisy so you will get little sleep. I wouldn't recommend staying here Rooms : 1/5 | Service : 1/5 | Location : 1/5 … More

Nearby activities: Next to Euston station. Really recommend Double J's for breakfast/brunch, about 1/2 mile west on Euston road. Guilt free because of the walk! Rooms : 3/5 | Service : 5/5 | Location : 5/5 Hotel highlights Great value … More

The rooms are very tired. Carpets are starting to look threadbare. Shower curtains are so 19th century as they are not replaced each use, at least with glass they can be cleaned after every visit. The soap dispensers were not refilled. The window which states on it do not open so we can keep the hotel at a constant temperature was open. The towels had some signs of staining on. The concierge on arrival was amazing, she booked our rooms and allowed us early entry to one of the rooms, she then checked us into the other. The night concierge was also friendly and sorted our key to the second room efficiently. Breakfast service was good, very friendly staff and kept the restaurant clean and clear. Good location though.

Rooms: Small...not enough clothes storage ...no extractor in bathroom. Needs updating but clean overall. Walkability: Great location for tube and Euston station Food & drinks: Great little cafe and bar down stairs. Food ok and reasonably priced. Noteworthy details: Ideal base if youre visiting the London sights. Basic but adequate if you just want a base. Found most of staff to be friendly and very helpful.

I have requested a refund due to my experience. I booked to stay one night as I was in town for a gig. Staff and location were ideal. However, my room left a lot to be desired. As reported in other reviews on this location, there was a noticeable odour of damp, and when I shut the curtain after returning from a show around midnight, I noticed what appeared to be a large patch of pink/orange mould on the carpet under the desk, extending to the bed. The wall under the desk and along the skirting appeared to be affected. If you are assigned to the ground floor, perhaps request another room. I suspect the room I was in has already been complained about below (mould and sunken bed matched what I found in my room). Due to the level of mould, I opted not to use the shower or tea/coffee facilities, as I couldn't be certain these were properly clean. While I am absolutely happy with basic accommodation and frequently book it, it's quite jarring that I could've stayed at a boutique-type hotel for only a little more than I paid here. Walkability: Very central (directly beside Euston station and near to King's Cross St. Pancras).
