Booked in for one night for a wedding at a nearby venue. So far one of the lights doesn't work (probably because there's no bulb in it), the shower barely has enough pressure for the water to fall out of the fixed shower head, making having a shower well nigh impossible (and the extractor fan doesn't work - very steamy), and half the buttons on the TV remote don't work, but the TV only has a handful of Freeview channels tuned in anyway. On our way out to our function we asked reception for some soap for the bathroom, the receptionist said she would put it in our room. Upon our return, no soap. A trip to reception yielded a plastic cup of soap.... Additionally the lock on the door is missing a part, and the plain corridor walls resemble a 1960's hospital ward. It has to be said that we only booked here because the local Premier Inns were full, but whatever the circumstances Travelodge won't be seeing any of our money again.

Yeah, not a bad site, straight forward receptionist at desk, no messing, bam and done keys. Slight tatty bits and corners. Nice and toasty warm, was placed in a family room. Wi fi code wouldn't work when paid extra for it, frustrating but then maybe a mistake with taking firestick,oh well. Lovely bath, good heat. Tea extras in reception. Straight forward. Needs more tele channels (Freeview has loads more) needs slight updating like the pic above bed. Slight slams of door and vibration of others. Just down road from rail station. It's a weak 4 star, would defo stay here again.
