I stayed at Travelodge in Finsbury Park for a two day business trip. Even though the location was good, I was disappointed by the experience I had. I needed to make some phone calls and the signal in the rooms was horrible, then I tried to use the WiFi to make a web call and I realised that you have to pay for it per day (what is this, 2008? Just include it in the room charge). I was having a shower and I realised that the drain was clogged which caused the bathroom to flood! In the morning I had breakfast and I realised that the cutlery didn't look clean and after I spotted a dirty knife and asked for other knives, he just placed the knives on top of the dirty one without taking it out. The sleep experience was also a bit troublesome because of the passing trains but this is something I kind of expected due to the proximity to the station. Overall I would not recommend this hotel and I hope there are better accommodation options in the area, as this seemed to have decent reviews which seems surprising to me after my experience.

Great service, friendly staff, room was ok but as it is situated right next to the trainline it was very difficult to sleep Rooms: Rooms have the necessities and bed was comfortable. However, bedding was very clean and bathroom floor could have been cleaned better

(Translated by Google) We were sent to this hotel because of an overbooking in which we had booked and paid. London Central Euston. Nothing to do in terms of location and facilities. Area not recommended for walking at night. Smell of tobacco in the corridors despite the fact that smoking is prohibited in the rooms. The staff is just ok.

The room was cold. The worst was the breakfast, which we paid in advance. Coffee machine broken, juice machine broken. No egg, no bacon, no plates, no bread for the toaster, dirty cutlery. Eventually they brought out eggs but they had been sitting on hotplate so long they were inedible. Worst breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. If you are going there don't bother with the breakfast.

Rooms: My £700 black Nike trainers were left at the hotel, called them immediately after I left on the same day and was told someone will check it and send it back to me. Never got back to me. Kept calling and spoke to different people who kept telling me they will call me back but never did. Eventually after trying several times and speaking with different people, I got in touch with someone who said ‘nothing was reported missing’. Asked them to check the cameras and I was told they will get back to me. Its been over 3 months and not heard anything back

Booked for adult but pillows are 1 adult and child size. Paid for buffet 2 adult because I didn’t notice child eat free and I ask if I can refund but my child eat it because they said they can’t give refunds even if I paid thru their website. Breakfast scrambled lots of milk so taste not good, sausage deep fried not soft even the vegan my daughter can’t bite as it’s hard, coffee machine broken, juice machine broken, fruits are fruit salad style with syrup so not fresh. The room is comfy but noisy from train even if window is locked, no toothbrush toothpaste or shower cap, only given 1 towel but there’s two of us. Hand towel is two which is great but no blow dryer. Paid 87£ Noteworthy details: No parking and can’t park nearby so need to ask the customer service if you have car
