So, before I start the review I would like to admit that I didn't research this properly. I hadn't read the reviews. I stupidly assumed that all Travelodge hotels had parking. So clearly I am the wally. Travelodge is clearly from the same school as Ryanair. Things that you take for granted at other hotels you have to pay extra for. First of all Parking: I called from the car to find where to park to be told that there is not a car park. I then thought 🤔 perhaps we can get a 24 hour ticket or a weekly ticket? Nope. During the day 4hours was the maximum duration. Overnight 7pm until 8am, so although you could take down the details to use the mobile app from your phone to top-up at 8am, you were then awake!!! When we got to the room it was clean, but handsoap dispenser didn't work (it was easy enough to use the shower gel so didn't complain) and no view. Also, other than a small hanging rail there was no where to store clothes. The most annoying things )and this is where I get a bit Karen, they encourage you to review with a QR code and the temptation of going into a draw to win £100 vouchers. I duly completed the form, clicked the link to be put into a draw to find the link told me I didn't have permission to access the link! It kind of rubs salt in the wounds.... Would I use Travelodge again. Yes as my budget is a Travelodge budget. Would I choose this Travelodge again. Not on your nelly! I'd rather drive further and have a carpark. Noteworthy details: THERE IS NO CARPARK

All very good, marked down on the room for the simple thing of bathroom being so small. If you are a larger person you'd struggle, literally. I'm an average size 12 and the toilet is so close to the sink there's no arm room, my shoulder touches the basin and you have no turning room to get paper situated on the other side, you feel so squashed in. The shower cubicle is a good size but the shampoo/body wash container is situated in the wrong place. Although it was not in use, you turn around and knock it off the wall. I'm definitely not the first to do it as it looks as though it was just precariously hanging on. Reported to front desk and they said they are aware and in talks with senior management to get them changed for something better. Overall experience very good, everything very clean.

NO PARKING! you have to pay to park in a nearby public car park, and if you don’t leave the car park by 8am, or arrive before 7pm you will have to pay full car parking charges rather than the overnight of £2 Cleanliness SUCKS!! hairs in the bathroom sink before we’ve even unpacked! Not looking forward to this
