Very noisy. Awoke at 3am as nearby nightclubs closed. Airlock in pipework. Really odd shaped room

Not a great stay unfortunately. Some cleanliness issues, WiFi issues and rowdy guests combined with a noisy city centre location made it far from relaxing. There are some positives though - the lady who checked me in was lovely and the new room designs are modern and inviting. The score largely reflects on my sleep quality which was very poor. The hygiene issues were also a concern. The positives of the hotel is that some of the staff are genuinely lovely, it’s located very close to Moor Street station, there’s a Tesco Express right below and the city centre is also on your doorstep. Noise is a big issue - Travelodge need to look at windows which better soundproof and maybe adding climate control or air con to rooms do as people can sleep at a comfortable temperature with windows shut - as being woken up at 4:30am by road sweepers wasn’t great!

Location excellent for night out however if this is not what you’ve come for DO NOT STAY HERE! Taxis honking horns from 1am-4am. Had other guests playing loud music and screaming until 6am. I complained and got told this is normal and would give me 20% off next time. Have not received any voucher. Unless you are on a night out AVOID THIS HOTEL.

Fab rooms, friendly staff, and a perfect, central location. What more do you want. There was a lot of noise coming from the people having fun outside until about 5 am, but I'm a very heavy sleeper, and even though the window was open, I slept through. Location was a bit of a distance for some places we had planned (walkable but long), but the metro being so close was extremely helpful, so we made it work! Near ikon gallery and some great restaurants, though! The only problem was I couldn't work the hot water for the shower!

Great location, tired hotel and rooms and only one lift working. Rooms could be cleaner and the cleanliness of the hotel is questionable. Noise from broad Street for us staying on the second floor was unbearable at times. Was kept awake most of the night so pack ear plugs. Location is great though, parking across the road at Brindley Place
